THIS IS A REAL FOSSIL AND NOT A CAST!  

It is a mount of a complete  permian reptile on matrix. The species name is Captorhinus Agutti. This is one of the very first reptiles to be found in the fossil record.

The bones are found in a kind of bone bed. Take a look at the picture and you will get an idea how these bones were found and how many work is needed to build an animal like this! This piece of bonebed in not included in this offer.

All the bones are cleaned and mounted on to this piece of matrix. The matrix was produced artificially, it is not original. Most of the teeth and bones are real fossils.

The skull measures about 6,5 cm long. The skeleton measuring along the spine is 35 cm (streched a little longer) The matrix measures about 37 x 20 cm.
